Welcome to my blog, today we are going to make delicious oven baked chicken breasts!
Here are a list of ingredients that we will be needing

Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts - Use boneless breasts with no skin
- 2 tsp olive oil - Gives chicken extra flavour

Seasonings:
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar - Helps caramelize the chicken
- 1 tsp paprika - Gives a smokey flavour
- 1 tsp dried oregano - Gives an earthy flavour
- 1 tsp garlic powder - Adds that delicious touch of garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt - Brings out all the flavours
- 1/2 tsp pepper - Gives it a mild heat
Now on to the steps to create that juicy chicken!
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF/220ºC.
- Pound chicken to 1.5cm/0.6" at the thickest part using a rolling pin, or meat mallet.
- Mix the paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to form your seasoning.
- Line tray with foil and baking/parchment paper.
- Place chicken down on tray and drizzle the chicken with one tsp of olive oil and sprinkle on your seasoning.
- Bake for for 18 minutes, or until golden brown, or internal temperature is 165ºF/75ºC using a meat thermometer. Buy a meat thermometer here!
- Remove from oven and immediately transfer chicken to serving plates.
- Wait 3-5 minutes before serving
- Enjoy!
